When can I download atlas?
The iPhone app is in preparation. It is not yet on the App Store and no release date has been set. Before distribution it must complete builds, real-device testing and approval.
Do I need a special device?
No. atlas uses your iPhone microphone. You don't need a pendant or external recorder.
Will the Action button work?
The native project includes a Shortcuts action that can be assigned to a compatible iPhone's Action button. It launches the app rather than a Safari link. iOS may require unlocking; locked and background behaviour still needs device testing.
Does atlas work offline?
Recording in the native app is designed for local storage, including offline. Uploading to the notebook, transcription and AI summaries need internet.
How much will atlas cost?
Plans and limits will be published before sales begin. This site accepts no orders or payments. The current private pilot is free.
Will Apple Watch recording be available?
Yes. A companion app for Apple Watch with watchOS 10 or later is in preparation. Audio is saved on the watch even without an iPhone. When reconnected, it transfers to atlas on iPhone; start cloud upload and optional AI transcription there. Transfer timing depends on the system. The extension still requires builds and paired-device testing.
Does atlas record phone calls?
No. atlas is a voice notebook for microphone audio. A phone call may interrupt recording.
