2. Service and acceptance of terms

atlas lets you record or import audio, store it in your own notebook and optionally create an AI transcript, summary, task suggestions and folder assignment. Content is not public by default. The pilot is for adults; business users must be authorised to act for their organisation.

You accept the terms by actively confirming them in the app. You can read and save them beforehand. We keep the terms version and confirmation time with your atlas profile. Reading privacy information does not constitute consent to all processing. AI permission is separate.

Sign-in is provided by ChatGPT / the Sites platform. Third-party services have their own terms. Deleting an atlas profile does not delete a ChatGPT or Apple account.

3. Recordings and authorisation

Content remains yours or belongs to its rightful owners. BOXLET receives only permission to technically store, play, convert and process it according to your settings as necessary to provide the service. It receives no right to sell content or use it for its own advertising.

Record only what you are authorised to record. Inform participants beforehand about recording, its purpose, storage and any transfer to AI. Obtain consent or another legal basis where required. Phone microphone permission does not authorise recording other people. Respect confidentiality, copyright and your employer's rules. Do not use atlas for covert surveillance or unlawful data processing.

Processing personal data on behalf of a company or employer requires prior clarification of roles and an appropriate data processing agreement. The pilot is not intended for medical records, particularly sensitive databases or high-risk decisions about people.

4. AI and technical limitations

AI is not always accurate. Before use, verify names, numbers, meaning, tasks, deadlines and categorisation against the original audio. Output is not professional legal, medical or financial advice. atlas performs no voice identity recognition or emotion assessment.

The web version requires a supported browser and internet for cloud features. Audio files are limited to 24 MB. Locking an iPhone or moving the web app into the background may interrupt recording. An Open URL shortcut may launch a browser. The native iOS project is a test source project that still requires building and device verification; publishing its source does not promise App Store availability.

The pilot may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, network issues, exhausted operating credits or supplier services. Regularly export important audio and text. This does not exclude statutory provider obligations or consumer rights.

5. Ending use, changes and liability

You may stop using atlas at any time and remove content and your atlas profile in data management. Download anything you need before deletion. If security or legal reasons require us to restrict the service, we will act proportionately and, circumstances permitting, explain why and allow export. Material changes will be announced in advance and will not introduce payment obligations without an order.

Liability is governed by applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or mandatory consumer rights. Czech law applies without depriving consumers of protection under mandatory rules of their country of habitual residence.

Defect rights, contact and dispute resolution are described under Complaints and consumer rights. Final prices, limits, billing, renewal and cancellation rules and pre-contractual information for future paid plans will be published before sales begin.
