What atlas code uses
| Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| localStorage: atlas-theme | Selected light, dark or system appearance. | Until changed or storage is cleared. |
| localStorage: slyseno-auto-ai | Automatic AI processing preference on the device; does not replace server-side OpenAI permission. | Until changed or storage is cleared. |
| IndexedDB: slyseno-backups | Backup of audio chunks and unfinished notes in this browser. | Until successful upload, backup deletion or clearing storage. |
Older technical storage names were retained to preserve data when the app was renamed. Local data is not automatically shared between Safari, a home-screen web app and the native iOS app.
Sign-in and hosting
Sign-in and security cookies are managed by the ChatGPT Sites hosting platform, not atlas cookie code. They verify sign-in and permissions. Their specific names, lifetimes and any further platform technologies must be checked on the actual domain before public release.
atlas code introduces no analytics or advertising cookies. Necessary technical storage generally does not require consent through a cookie banner; any non-technical technologies added later must be assessed beforehand and, where required, blocked until a free user choice. Personal data processing is described in the privacy policy.
Managing storage
Change appearance and automatic transcription in Settings. Delete individual local backups in note details, or in bulk in data management. Download unsent audio before clearing browser data. Deleting cookies may require signing in again; deleting IndexedDB may permanently remove unsent recordings. Removing the web icon alone does not reliably delete cloud content.
